Whatsapp Messenger has become one of the most used apps or services for sending instant messages in a free manner to all of your friends. The application is more than just sending text messages and chat with your contacts. If you know what to do, you have plenty of other interesting features and options. However, for those of you who still do not know, I want to tell that now, you can use Whatsapp for PC, in the same manner as you use the mobile version.
This is true. It is not yet an official alternative offered by the Whatsapp developers, but, thanks to a third-party service, we are able to download and install Whatsapp for PC. In fact, you need an Android emulator, which will make your device work as an Android device, which allows you to install pretty much any mobile application or game you want.
Once you have the service ready to use on your desktop computer, you might want to learn more about the benefits that this amazing instant messenger is offering. Here, I want to show you five great features which some of you might have missed while browsing through Whatsapp.
Send Whatsapp Conversation History to your Contacts
With the desktop version of the application, you can send an entire conversation history from Whatsapp via email. Just go in the Menu option of conversation, head over to More, and select Email conversation. This will allow you to send any conversation you want, including pictures, voice, and video clips.
Change Whatsapp Chat Wallpaper
For those of you who still do not know, and want to make a change, find out that you can change the Whatsapp wallpaper to any picture you want. You can either select a picture that is on your Android phone, or choose to use one of the backgrounds available in the Whatsapp Wallpaper app. This app is downloaded automatically when you choose Whatsapp in the Wallpaper menu. I am sure that this will bring a little bit of joy in your conversations.
Use Enter Key to Send Texts
With Whatsapp on PC we get to use a bigger keyboard and a bigger screen to send out messages, it is a pity not to make use of them. Since we all send multiple lines within our conversations, the fact that we can use the Enter key in order to send multiple messages, it is just great. This will save us a lot of time since we will not have to press the Send button anymore.
Create Whatsapp Shortcuts for Contacts
I know that this option is still unknown for most of you, but now, you will see how useful this can turn out to be. When you can several contacts that you use daily, instead of launching Whatsapp for PC, and then search for the respective contact, you can create a shortcut on the screen, which will send you right to the respective conversation.
Broadcast Whatsapp messages to Many Contacts
If you need to send a message to more than one person at a time, the easiest way to do this is to broadcast a message. Just select Broadcast message in the More Menu, and select the contacts you want to send it to. Just type Enter or click on Send, and you are done.
